iSchool Inclusion Institute (i3) launches EngagePitt™ Campaign

The iSchool Inclusion Institute (i3) alumni board has launched an EngagePitt™ crowdfunding campaign. The goal of this campaign is to increase the number of accepted scholars and keep the program free.

I3 is an award-winning diversity initiative that recruits and prepares underrepresented students for graduate study and careers in the information sciences. Its mission is to increase both the number and diversity of students prepared for research, teaching, and professional careers within the IS field. Each year, nearly 30 scholars are selected to matriculate the program. Since its inception in 2011, more than 130 have graduated or are currently participating in the Institute.
